Bindi Sergardi

🏡 Tastings & visitsChianti DOCG

Bindi Sergardi cultivates Sangiovese across three Tuscan estates, each guided by its own terroir around a single declared denomination, Chianti DOCG. At I Colli, a hamlet founded by the family in the late 15th century, the vine expresses itself through long-established vineyards, while Tenuta Mocenni presides over the hills north of Siena, where the interplay of soil and climate establishes a recognizable identity. The resulting wine—red, with at least 11.5% alcohol—bears the mark of centuries of viticulture, interpreted, however, as a living practice rather than an artifact. The interpretation of the grape variety changes from estate to estate, and in that variation lies the story: the same Sangiovese speaking different things depending on the slope. The doors remain open for tastings: it's worth stopping to verify in the glass how the Sienese landscape translates into profile, estate after estate, following the thread that unites the three properties.
