BIODINAMICA MACIOT

In Cocconato, cool summers and mild winters slow down the aging of wines. Biodinamica Maciot's plots are spread across this band of hills, between Cocconato, Piovà Massaia, and Montiglio Monferrato. Their farming is certified organic (CEE 834/2007), free from fungicides and synthetic fertilizers: a deliberate choice to protect the biodiversity of the Asti area. Low yields are the foundation for concentrated wines that capture the essence of this corner of Monferrato in every glass. The three denominations they champion are all **DOCG** and remain within a restricted territorial radius: **Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato**, **Barbera d'Asti**, and **Terre Alfieri**. It's a deliberately compact repertoire, crafted to interpret a specific place rather than merely expanding a catalog, where each label responds to controlled yields with density and clarity. The winery welcomes visitors: on-site tastings are the most direct way to understand what their 'subtractive' work in the vineyard produces here.
