Biscardo Vini

In San Bonifacio, on the eastern edge of the Verona area, Biscardo Vini interprets Soave through a deeply rooted family tradition. The two denominations in their range—both DOCG—share the same matrix: Garganega, the region's benchmark grape variety, supported by Trebbiano di Soave and secondary white grapes. The difference lies in the destiny of the bunches. Soave Superiore harvests the fruit in a dry style, seeking structure and precision; Recioto transforms it into a passito, concentrating sugars through the appassimento process. The new generation insists on this dual interpretation, assessing each vintage by how the territory influences the raw material. Visitors to the winery can follow the grape along both paths, from the dry harvest to the selection of bunches destined for appassimento, and personally verify how soil and exposure guide the final character of this Veronese white.
