🏡 Tastings & visitsCollio Goriziano DOC

Blazic is based in Cormòns, in the Collio Goriziano, one of the benchmark districts for Friulian white wines. Since 2012, the company has been part of Progetto Zegla, an agreement between three local winemakers to interpret the most faithful expression of their soil, and Michele Blazic works exclusively with grapes harvested on the Zegla hill, with Tocai Friulano as the pivotal variety. The method is distinctly artisanal: three days of maceration, spontaneous fermentation, followed by wood aging that lasts years before the bottle reaches the market. The consequence is a strict selection, with only the best vintages released. Under the Collio Goriziano DOC denomination, Blazic thus defends an idea of slow, territorial wine, far from the ready-to-drink logic. Those passing through Cormòns can ascend to the Zegla vineyards and verify in the cellar how these long-awaited white wines are born, directly tasting the fruit of that restrained time.
