Bordiga 1888

Since 1888, Bordiga has been crafting Vermut di Torino IGP from its base in Cuneo, in a Piedmont where fortified wine has long and well-documented roots. Production is articulated in multiple expressions, in red and dry white styles, up to an organic certified superiore: each bottle reflects a personal interpretation of the botanical balance that defines the protected Turin appellation. Over a century of continuous activity has solidified a craft that combines the selection of aromatic herbs, dosage, and aging. Vermouth here remains a composite product, where the choice and proportion of botanicals weigh as much as the wine base. The Cuneo cellar is open for visits: guests can directly taste the different versions and grasp, glass after glass, how the aromatic profile varies between dry and superiore. It is the most direct opportunity to understand what distinguishes a Vermut di Torino IGP from the many imitations lacking official regulations.
