Conegliano Valdobbiadene - Prosecco DOCG

Borgo Col Vini operates in Follina, nestled among the Treviso hills of Valdobbiadene, home to some of Italy's most celebrated sparkling wines. Its sole denomination, Conegliano Valdobbiadene - Prosecco DOCG, spans fifteen municipalities and is primarily crafted from the Glera grape, complemented by four indigenous varieties—Verdiso, Bianchetta trevigiana, Perera, and Glera lunga—each capable of adding a nuance to the aromatic profile. From these grapes emerge diverse expressions of the same territory: still white wines, frizzante versions, and the most renowned sparkling interpretation that has made the area globally recognizable. The common thread uniting them is lightness: with a minimum alcohol content of 10.5%, these wines preserve the freshness and drinkability that define these hills. The winery operates strictly within the production specifications, allowing the steep and fragmented landscape of Follina to dictate the character, amidst hand-cultivated slopes and a sparkling wine tradition that finds one of its highest expressions here.
