BORGO DEGLI AIRONI DI ZUIN LUCA AZ. AGR.

Portogruaro · Province of Venezia · Veneto

Lison DOCGPiave Malanotte DOCG

On the glacial plains of Pradipozzo, in Portogruaro, Borgo degli Aironi cultivates lands formed by millennial alluvial deposits, particularly suited to viticulture. Two DOCG denominations define its range: Lison, a white wine from Tai and indigenous grape varieties, and Piave Malanotte, a red predominantly from Raboso, aged for 36 months. The former emphasizes freshness and aromaticity, the latter structure and fruit, the result of a tannic grape tamed by long aging. For three generations, the Zuin family has managed this territory, blending inherited techniques with contemporary viticulture. The choice to focus on a white and a red, both at the pinnacle of Venetian quality, speaks of a winery that pursues distinctiveness rather than quantity: wines of singular character, where the glacial soil leaves a clear imprint. Lison pairs well with soft cheeses, while Malanotte is suited for dry desserts and long cellaring, two facets of the same lowland landscape interpreted through grape varieties of opposing nature and destiny.
