Borgo Molino

Borgo Molino operates in the hilly heart of Valdobbiadene, where Glera vines follow the steep slopes of the Treviso hills. The winery navigates two denominations: the Conegliano Valdobbiadene - Prosecco DOCG, interpreted in its full breadth through still (`fermo`), semi-sparkling (`frizzante`), and sparkling (`spumante`) styles, and the broader delle Venezie DOC, which extends the perimeter beyond the amphitheater of the fifteen hills. Within the DOCG, the producer seeks the mineral precision and aromatic drive of the area, while minor grapes like Verdiso, Bianchetta trevigiana, and distinctive clones such as Perera add textural nuances to the wines. This work is oriented towards varietal complexity rather than mere effervescence, maintained above the minimum alcohol threshold of 10.5 percent. Between the steepness of the slopes and the variety of the ampelographic heritage, the winery offers an interpretation of the territory that combines the finesse of hillside Prosecco with the openness of a broader regional denomination, without flattening one onto the other.
