BORGO MOLINO VIGNE & VINI S.R.L.

From Ormelle, in the viticultural plain occupying the northeastern corner of Veneto in the province of Treviso, Borgo Molino Vigne & Vini oversees two DOCGs that differ in color and soil. The Lison yields mineral white wines, built on Tai and other regional grapes, while the Piave Malanotte signs the reds, anchored by Raboso Piave and aged for thirty-six months before bottling. This dual choice is not accidental: white and red represent two different interpretations of the same plain, one leaning towards freshness and a saline profile, the other towards the structure and longevity that Raboso requires. In the transition between the two, the winery conveys the geological and varietal specificity of the Piave, a territory often overshadowed by more famous denominations but possessing a precise identity. The long aging of the Malanotte, in particular, signals the intention to give a rustic and tannic grape the necessary time to become a wine of substance.
