🏡 Tastings & visitsLison DOCGPiave Malanotte DOCG

In Pramaggiore, the Valent family has managed Borgo Stajnbech for three generations, entrusting two Venetian DOCGs with two opposing registers. On one side, the Lison, a white wine that highlights the Tai grape with a minimum of 12% alcohol; on the other, the Piave Malanotte, a red from Raboso varieties harvested across sixty-two municipalities, which demands thirty-six months of aging before revealing itself. White and red thus mark the two extremes of the same idea of territory. The rhythm the winery declares to follow is that of nature, from the vine row to the barrel, translated into wines that aim to resonate with their terroir rather than conforming to a style. It's a choice best understood on-site, where the distance between a fresh Tai and a long-aged Raboso becomes tangible. The cellar welcomes visitors: it's worth planning a stop in Pramaggiore to taste the two denominations in sequence and gauge how much work separates harvest from bottle in the Malanotte.
