Borin Vini e Vigne s.s.a. di Gianni Dott. Borin e C.
Monselice · Province of Padova · Veneto
Between Monselice and Arquà Petrarca, within the Colli Euganei Regional Park, Borin Vini e Vigne owns thirty-eight hectares, twenty-six of which are vineyards. The sub-Mediterranean microclimate of these hills and the volcanic soils find their synthesis in Colli Euganei Fior d'Arancio, a denomination entirely dedicated to Moscato giallo: a range that derives different expressions from this single grape variety, from still white to sparkling and passito, each designed to highlight varietal typicality rather than to follow trends. The limited editions tell another ambition: to document how the terroir changes from vintage to vintage, almost an archive in a bottle. The winery welcomes visitors and guests for tastings, and a visit is the most direct way to understand how local and international varieties coexist on these Venetian volcanic soils: it's worth stopping in the cellar and following the Moscato giallo through all its transformations, from dry to sweet.
