Bortolotti
Valdobbiadene · Province of Treviso · Veneto
Since 1947, Bortolotti has drawn from the slopes of Conegliano Valdobbiadene to craft Prosecco DOCG sparkling wines that combine the winemaking tradition of the hills with a sparkling wine technique refined over time. The Glera grapes, along with the historical varieties of the area, come from suppliers along the slopes of the denomination and are transformed vintage after vintage according to a qualitative interpretation matured in the historic premises of Valdobbiadene. Alongside this sparkling heart, the producer also links their name to Salamini italiani alla cacciatora DOP, a second denomination that expands the scope from the vineyard to cured meats, confirming a multifaceted rootedness in the Venetian landscape. Thus, two different origins, a hillside sparkling wine and a table salami, are held together under the same name. The winery is open to visitors: it's worth ascending to Valdobbiadene to explore the historic premises, follow the stages of secondary fermentation, and recognize in the glass the seven decades of work accumulated among these hills.
