Boschetto Campacci

Boschetto Campacci operates within the broad framework of Toscano IGT, a denomination encompassing 273 municipalities in central Tuscany and allowing ample room for interpretation. Within this space, the winery chooses a precise vocabulary: three cornerstone grape varieties — Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero — expressed as red, white, and rosé wines. This is the classic grammar of the inland region, preceding the great DOCs and often forming their ampelographic foundation. Each wine reaches at least 11% alcohol, the minimum technical threshold of the regulations, indicating a choice for lightness and drinkability rather than sheer power. Working within the IGT here doesn't mean sacrificing identity, but rather seeking the nuances of the territory without the strict constraints of more rigid appellations.
