Bosco Giovanna
In Priocca, in the Roero, Bosco Giovanna has run a family business since 1980, passed down without changing course: Ilenia's entry in 2009 continued a careful agricultural approach, culminating in organic certification in 2019. Cultivation dialogues with the rhythms of the countryside and serves as the premise for a single denomination, the Roero DOCG. From Nebbiolo, Arneis, and other suitable grape varieties come red, white, and sparkling interpretations, all held to the minimum twenty months of aging required by the regulations. It is during this long period that the wines gather the identity of the nineteen municipalities of the denomination, amidst the sands and hills that distinguish Roero from the Langhe opposite. The result is a coherent portrait of a small reality that has chosen family continuity and organic conversion as the hallmarks of its work, rather than the breadth of its range.
