Recioto di Soave DOCGSoave Superiore DOCG

Founded in 1928 by Carlo Botter in Fossalta di Piave, just east of Venice, the winery grew from a modest shop to become a benchmark in Venetian viticulture. Almost a century later, it continues to work with Garganega cultivated in the area of the twelve Veronese municipalities, the grape that underpins both its denominations and defines their profile. These are not just two labels, but a diptych that explores the same ampelographic base in opposite directions. Indeed, the two DOCGs reveal the contrasting faces of high-end Soave: the Superiore, dry and expansive, designed to beautifully accompany meals; and the Recioto, a sweet version obtained from grapes left to wither. Botter interprets them with a measured and accessible style, where the ancient Venetian commercial openness translates into wines calibrated for every table. The faun drawn by Carlo, passed down from generation to generation, marks each bottle as a sign of continuity in a territory where Adriatic trade routes once converged.
