BRANDOLINI ALESSIO (Az. Agr.)

Oltrepò Pavese metodo classico DOCG

Since 1873, the Brandolini family has worked the slopes of Oltrepò Pavese, based in San Damiano al Colle and neighboring municipalities. The current nine hectares are dedicated to Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio, grapes that feed a single denomination: Oltrepò Pavese metodo classico DOCG, a spumante that also takes a rosé form here after a minimum of fifteen months of aging on its lees. The long cellar aging is the winery's hallmark. The Pinot Nero Rosé offers mountain herbs, small red fruits, and a spicy note, with a light palate and long persistence that speaks of the Oltrepò hills without forcing its tones. It is a precise interpretation of the territory, where the Burgundian grape finds a suitable climate for secondary fermentation, and the bubble remains the chosen language to express it. Not open to the public, the winery entrusts its metodo classico wines with the task of speaking on its behalf, vintage after vintage.
