Collio Goriziano DOC

From the hills of Farra d'Isonzo, in the Gorizia territory, Bressan Wines interprets Collio Goriziano DOC primarily through white grape varieties, from Ribolla gialla to Sauvignon, which find a tailor-made terroir here. It's a strip of Friuli where the border and the river shape a vineyard landscape of strong identity. The winery chooses the path of artisanal viticulture and traditional winemaking, rejecting the shortcuts of serial production. Each harvest thus becomes a conscious stance rather than a simple agricultural act: preserving knowledge passed down through generations of Friulian winemakers means accepting timelines and yields that industry does not contemplate. The result is a wine that asserts its own slowness, where manual work in the vineyard and cellar remains the true hallmark of its style. Bressan works against standardization, and in this choice, one can read his idea of Collio: a white wine that bears the mark of its maker.
