Since 1885, the Brezza family has been planting vineyards near Barolo, and today three brothers — Marco, Giacomo, and Enzo — cultivate twenty hectares across four DOCG denominations. The range is divided by grape variety rather than by label: Nebbiolo underpins the two major names of the Langhe, Barolo — with its minimum thirty-eight months of aging — and Barbaresco; Dolcetto lends its name to the other two, Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba. All are red wines, all conceived for cellar aging, where time and wood define their character. Visitors won't find a tasting counter separate from the work: the tasting room and restaurant are nestled among the rows, so the wine is enjoyed where it's born. It's a direct way to understand the relationship between Nebbiolo and Dolcetto, between the four appellations, all under one Piedmontese roof. Stop at a table among the vines to taste the four DOCG wines in their true context.
