Bruno Tasoniero
Bruno Tasoniero crafts two distinct expressions on the volcanic slopes of Verona, within the Soave area, which encompasses twelve municipalities. From Garganega and complementary regional varieties comes Soave Superiore DOCG, a dry white wine built on minerality and structure. Alongside it is Recioto di Soave DOCG, the passito version where overripe grapes concentrate their sugars into notes of liquid honey and apricot. The two denominations form a diptych: on one side, a taut, vertical dry wine; on the other, a sweet meditation wine, both rooted in the same limestone and basalt base. This pairing highlights the versatility of Garganega, capable of sustaining both dryness and overripening. The winery thus moves between opposing registers without leaving its native area, safeguarding an important part of the white wine heritage in the northeast. Each bottle reflects a conscious varietal selection and the rock that sustains it.
