Brutell
Adro · Province of Brescia · Lombardia
In Adro, on the slopes of Monte Alto, Brutell was founded in 2003 by Tiziano Bruschi, who, after years as a cellar manager, chose a personal path focused on niche products. The vineyards, planted between 1994 and 2007, provide Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Pinot Bianco, and Erbamat: the varietal palette upon which the entire production is built. A single denomination governs the work, Franciacorta, a reserved guarantee, expressed as spumante (sparkling) and rosato (rosé). The winery is structured into three connected spaces, featuring steel tanks and traditional equipment, and adheres to the disciplinary parameters without shortcuts: at least eighteen months of aging and an alcohol content of no less than 11.5%. It is within this margin, between Italy's most codified Brescian bubbles and the search for unconventional expressions, that Brutell seeks its own voice, measuring innovation against the demanding standards of Franciacorta.
