In Torreglia, on the volcanic hills of the Colli Euganei, Cà Ferri focuses its work on a single denomination, Colli Euganei Fior d'Arancio DOCG. The magmatic soils set the tone for the wines, while Moscato giallo and other aromatic white grape varieties define their floral and honeyed profile. From this restricted repertoire, the winery nonetheless produces a surprisingly articulated range. The same grape is guided along three different paths—still, sparkling, and passito—each with its own measure, starting from the 10.5% minimum alcohol content required by the regulations. It's a vertical interpretation of the grape, demonstrating how much a single Paduan terroir can encompass simply by changing cellar techniques. The welcome remains open all year round: visitors to Torreglia can taste the three styles in sequence and grasp, in the transition from dry to sweet, how this area of the Colli Euganei modulates the aromatic soul of Fior d'Arancio, combining freshness and concentration within the same grape.
