Ca’Ronesca

In Dolegna del Collio, at the far end of the Gorizia area, Ca'Ronesca cultivates gentle slopes that fall within the eight municipalities of Collio Goriziano, the sole denomination within which all its work operates. The harvest is manual, cluster by cluster, and the transformation in the cellar proceeds unhurriedly, as if the rhythm of the wine should echo that of the hill. The range covers the entire spectrum of Collio. The whites remain the center of gravity — Pinot Grigio, Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and aromatic varieties — but red expressions and reserves, which extend the perspective over time, are also present. This winery concentrates its ambition on a single, circumscribed territory, convinced that depth is worth more than breadth: meticulous care in the cellar serves to honor what Collio yields, without overwriting it. In this adherence to the place, the single denomination becomes an entire vocabulary, expressed in all its varietal nuances.
