🏡 Tastings & visitsConegliano Valdobbiadene - Prosecco DOCG

Ca' Salina took shape in the 1970s when Riccardo Bortolin left the family winery to establish his own venture in the Valdobbiadene hills. The name harks back to an 18th-century house that once served as a salt warehouse. The turning point arrived in 1993 with Gregorio Bortolin: the cellar carved into the hillside marked full production autonomy and, simultaneously, a way of inhabiting the landscape without forcing it. From here, a single denomination emerges, the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG, offered in multiple styles—still, frizzante, and spumante—all crafted from the traditional grapes of this corner of Veneto. The family's dedication to hospitality became tangible in 2011 with a dedicated tasting room. That's where you'll want to linger: tasting the different versions side by side is the most direct way to understand how a single denomination can change its voice depending on the type of bubble.
