CADIS 1898 (Cantina di Soave)

CADIS 1898 is the new face of Cantina di Soave, born from a reorganization that brought together four wineries—Soave, Montecchia, Illasi, and Terre al Lago—under a single identity. Based in Sommacampagna, just outside Verona, the group operates on two fronts, olive oil and wine, both linked to the Garda area. On one side, there's Garda DOP extra virgin olive oil, delicately fruity with sweet notes, an expression of the Garda olive groves; on the other, Garda DOC wines—whites, sparkling, and frizzante—made from Garganega, Trebbiano, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio across a basin of seventy-six municipalities. The two denominations share the lake's name and represent its two symbolic products, where the mild Garda climate acts as a common thread between vineyard and olive grove. The result is a consolidated reality, balancing Veneto's winemaking tradition with a Mediterranean-style olive oil production.
