Cagliero cultivates six hectares in the Barolo area, with south and southeast-facing parcels at around 300 meters, including the Ravera and Terlo crus. Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, and Barbera — the classic grapes of the Langhe — fuel a production of 45,000-50,000 bottles a year, balanced between yield and typicity. Four DOCG denominations mark each vintage. Nebbiolo signs the two major names, Barolo with thirty-eight months of aging and at least 13% alcohol, and Barbaresco with twenty-six months and 12.5%, while Dolcetto splits between Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba and Dogliani, two interpretations of the same variety on distinct soils. This range covers the entire expressive spectrum of the Cuneo area, from everyday wine to those for long aging. The winery welcomes visitors: stopping here allows you to taste the four denominations side-by-side and grasp how a handful of hectares can speak four different languages of the Langhe.
