Cal Monda

In Pieve di Soligo, amidst the hilly vineyards of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, Cal Monda dedicates its work to a single denomination, Prosecco DOCG, exploring all its possible expressions. The wine originates from Glera and the grape varieties that have always accompanied it here—Verdiso, Bianchetta trevigiana, Perera, and Glera lunga—taking shape in three distinct styles, from still white to frizzante and spumante. Each vintage reaches at least 10.5% alcohol, retaining the freshness that the Treviso hills impart. It is a wine of the land, shaped by the calcareous-clay soil and the particular microclimate of this hilly strip, and the winery openly considers these to be the true authors of the result. Its task, if anything, is not to interfere, allowing the local variables to settle in the glass. The doors are open to visitors, with tastings designed for a direct encounter with these wines: it's worth booking a stop in Pieve di Soligo and walking through the rows, because it is by strolling among these slopes that one understands the origin of their vibrancy.
