In La Morra, Dominik Weigand masterfully unites four of Piedmont's most stringent denominations, arranged along the classic hierarchy of the Langhe. At the base are the two expressions of Dolcetto—Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba and Dogliani—which convey the direct, mineral energy of the grape, vibrant and lively. At the pinnacle stand the Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo, which demand patience: twenty-six and thirty-eight months of aging respectively before revealing their intricate texture.
