Cantina Andriano / Kellerei Andrian

Cantina Andriano operates across three registers of the Alto Adige landscape, each with its own grammar. From Lago di Caldaro comes Schiava, a variety with large bunches and a gentle profile, offered in classic and superiore versions that marry alpine precision with the tempering influence of the lake. The broad Alto Adige DOC, spread across fifty-two municipalities, opens up a wider palette of white and dark grape varieties, while Mitterberg adds a further degree of textural variation. Three denominations that tell the story of as many altitudes and temperatures. The thread that binds them is climatic: the cool nights and sheltered southern slopes impart to every bottle the same tension between ripeness and freshness. It's a balance that the winery has learned to interpret zone by zone, without flattening the differences. The doors are open for tasting: it's worth exploring these three levels in person, glass after glass, to understand how a single valley can speak with such diverse voices.
