Cantina Beghel

In Civezzano, on the initial slopes closing the Adige valley, Cantina Beghel cultivates the alpine terroir across seven protected denominations that weave together the entire Trentino mosaic. Five DOCs—Casteller, Trentino, Valdadige, Trento, and Teroldego Rotaliano—coexist with two broader geographical indications, Vallagarina and Vigneti delle Dolomiti, outlining a range that spans from distinctive reds to sparkling wines. Teroldego Rotaliano remains the symbolic red, while Trento DOC sparkling wines undergo a minimum aging of fifteen months; in between, the microclimates of these slopes allow for the vinification of both indigenous and international grape varieties. Integrated production protocols accompany every phase, from vineyard to cellar, reflecting the cooperative ethos that has shaped viticulture in these mountains. It's a broad yet coherent range, held together by altitude and an idea of wine that prioritizes the definition of place over immediate impact.
