Cantina Biagiotti

In Lucca, Cantina Biagiotti works with a single denomination—Toscano IGT—on land recovered from neglect and abandonment. The journey began with the rescue of a vineyard half-buried by thorny brambles, followed by the acquisition of the Lucca cellar and 2.5 hectares of vines: a small scale, where every parcel counts and nothing is taken for granted. The approach is based on direct knowledge of the soil—perceiving it by walking on it, feeling its mineral character beneath the natural amphitheater of the Lucca hills. From here emerge Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero, expressed in white, red, and rosé versions that tell a single origin through multiple registers. It is a work that gives back what the earth can offer when listened to instead of forced. Those who visit the cellar can taste this range and measure, wine after wine, how much a single IGT can convey when backed by a stubborn dedication to recovery.
