CANTINA CLAVESANA Società Cooperativa Agricola

Founded in 1959 in Clavesana, this cooperative from the Cuneo area has grown to become the leading producer of Dolcetto and Dogliani DOCG in the Langhe. Its strength lies in numbers: member growers operate in four appellation zones, from which they produce four wines that cover the entire Langhe spectrum. On one hand, Dolcetto, mineral in the Diano d'Alba version and fresh in the Dogliani; on the other, Nebbiolo for the two great reds, the more articulated Barbaresco and the Barolo with its long aging periods. The cooperative model here is a choice of merit: to overcome individual interest in favor of shared growth, with generations of winemakers translating the same landscape into recognizable wines. It is a choral story rather than an author's tale, where consistency arises from the sum of contributions.
