In southern Piemonte, in Dogliani, this cooperative oversees four denominations, all DOCG, divided into two families. On one side, Dolcetto, with Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba, a demanding vitigno that requires precise climatic balance and around which the winery builds its identity; on the other, Nebbiolo from the two major names of the Langhe, Barolo and Barbaresco, bottled after aging for thirty-eight and twenty-six months respectively. The hills that nourish these wines benefit from a dual influence: that of the Ligurian Apennines and the Maritime Alps. This thermal interplay preserves the delicate aromas of Dolcetto and, at the same time, allows Nebbiolo to mature with the slowness that the great red wines of the area demand. It's a range that covers the entire expressive spectrum of southern Piemonte, from everyday reds to long-aging wines. The winery offers structured tastings: a useful journey to sequentially grasp the distance that separates Dolcetto from Nebbiolo within just a few kilometers of hills.
