CANTINA DEL NEBBIOLO S.C.A.

Vezza d'Alba · Province of Cuneo · Piemonte

Barbaresco DOCGBarolo DOCGDogliani DOCG+1

In Vezza d'Alba, between the Langhe and Roero areas of Cuneo, Cantina del Nebbiolo cooperatively unites the territory from which some of Piemonte's greatest red wines originate. Its work covers the entire regional expressive spectrum, from the most immediate to the longest-lived, through four denominations that mark its extremes. On one side, the lively minerality of Dolcetto, expressed in Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba; on the other, the structured classics based on Nebbiolo, with Barbaresco aged for at least twenty-four months in wood and Barolo for forty-eight months. Each wine reflects the specificity of distinct communal zones, from the single-municipality Diano d'Alba to the eleven municipalities of Barolo, conveying terroir differences that the regulations establish and the winery interprets. The cooperative thus becomes a mechanism for reading diverse vocations in parallel, holding together the everyday and the monumental within a single Langhe geography, where each denomination occupies its own altitude of taste.
