Cantina di Castelnuovo del Garda

Born in 1958 with just eleven members, Cantina di Castelnuovo del Garda has, over time, established itself as a benchmark among cooperatives dedicated to Garda white wines. Its location, close to Verona, places it on morainic soils rich in fossil debris, a terrain that imparts a distinct minerality to the wines, becoming their most recognizable signature. On this foundation, it works with three distinct denominations: two from Verona and one from Garda. The Lugana and Soave Superiore represent the two dry souls of the project, while the Recioto di Soave carries on the tradition of sweet white wine from dried grapes, a natural conclusion to a journey entirely focused on white wines. The cooperative model here doesn't mean uniformity: the winery interprets each denomination according to its specific regulations, conveying through its wines the essence of a morainic territory that unites the Garda basin and the Soave hills into a single mineral geography.
