Friuli DOC

From its headquarters in Casarsa della Delizia, this cooperative operates within the one hundred and fifty-six municipalities of the DOC Friuli, a northeastern territory that imparts purity and mineral tension to its white wines. The scale is that of a broad denomination, interpreted through ten varieties: from crisp Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon to the more structured Traminer aromatico and Ribolla Gialla. Production is not limited to still wines but also includes frizzante versions and red types, each calibrated to reflect the cool climate characteristic of this plain, with a minimum alcohol content of ten percent. It's a cooperative model that prioritizes the breadth of its varietal range over a single flagship, and that entrusts the DOC with the task of uniting very different expressions under the same geographical framework. The common thread remains freshness: a climatic characteristic even more than a stylistic one, common to both easy-drinking whites and more ambitious labels.
