Cantina di Monteforte d'Alpone

Founded in 1952 in eastern Verona, Cantina di Monteforte d'Alpone gathers the work of six hundred associated winegrowing estates on volcanic soils. The cooperative operates within the Delle Venezie DOC denomination, a broad area where the white wines that have defined the territory—Pinot Grigio, Garganega, Tocai friulano—coexist with less common varieties like Müller Thurgau and Verduzzo. The signature of these wines comes from the subsoil: dark soils with reddish and silvery reflections that impart a marked mineral character, recognizable from dry whites to the most delicate rosés.
