Cantina Fantesini

From Bibbiano, in the Reggio Emilia hills, Cantina Fantesini operates at the heart of the Lambrusco galaxy, overseeing seven denominations. The core is the family of Lambruschi DOC — Sorbara and Salamino di Santa Croce for their lively effervescence and acidity, Grasparossa di Castelvetro for a deeper structure — around which revolve the territorial DOCs of Reggiano, Modena, Reno, and Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa. On this chessboard, the winery covers the entire spectrum, from sparkling reds to the still and lively whites of Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa and Reno, each designed to bring out the calcareous and clayey soils that define Emilia's enological identity.
