Cantina Malucelli

In Cividale del Friuli, in the province of Udine, Cantina Malucelli operates where three distinct DOCG areas of northeastern Friuli converge: Ramandolo, Rosazzo, and Colli Orientali del Friuli Picolit. The portfolio is built on diverse grape varieties and styles. The golden Verduzzo of Ramandolo becomes a sweet and structured wine, with a complexity leaning towards honeyed notes; the white wines of Rosazzo, from Friulano and Sauvignon, remain crisp and sharp with incisive acidity; the Picolit of Colli Orientali, on the other hand, pursues a mineral intensity born from a demanding fermentation. Each denomination imposes its own discipline, and the winery adheres to it without shortcuts: controlled sweetness for Ramandolo, tension for Rosazzo, technical patience for Picolit. This articulated structure is not a collection of labels but a map of the spectrum of terroirs that characterize the northeastern corner of the region.
