Cantina Mattiello

On the Colli Berici, in Longare, Cantina Mattiello interprets a landscape where volcanic and calcareous soils coexist in close proximity, shaping the character of the estate's red wines. The winery operates across two contiguous denominations, Colli Berici and Vicenza, working with Merlot, Tai Rosso, Pinot Nero, and varieties from the Cabernet family: a range that allows it to transition from still wine to sparkling without losing the mineral reference of the area. Each label pursues the same idea — precision and maturity — expressed according to the grape variety and its denomination. Tai Rosso brings the most local note, the Bordeaux blends provide structure, while the sparkling versions reveal the freshest face of this hilly corner of Veneto.
