CANTINA MONTELLIANA E DEI COLLI ASOLANI S.C.A.

Rooted in Montebelluna, Cantina Montelliana e dei Colli Asolani gathers almost four hundred winegrowers under a single cooperative banner, pooling vineyards and knowledge from the Treviso area. Production spans two protected denominations, diametrically opposed in character: on one side, the Lison DOCG, a taut white built on Tai and complementary grape varieties; on the other, the Piave Malanotte DOCG, a full-bodied red based on Raboso that demands three years of aging before release. The strength of this model lies precisely in its scale. Hundreds of suppliers channel the fruits of diverse plots into a shared winemaking process, where the community's accumulated knowledge translates into bottle consistency. The crisp white and structured red do not contradict each other: together, they narrate the breadth of a viticultural landscape, that of the northeast, capable of combining freshness and power. At Montelliana, the cooperative is not an organizational fallback but the method by which a fragmented territory manages to speak with a single voice.
