Cantina Produttori Nebbiolo di Carema

Founded in 1960 by ten winemakers, Cantina Produttori Nebbiolo di Carema now unites one hundred and one members across thirteen hectares clinging to the alpine slopes of Piedmont's northernmost municipality. Its registration in the DOC register dates back to 1967, and since then, the cooperative has converted generational knowledge into rigorous work, tied to the granitic soils and extreme slopes that define the house style. Here, the mountain is not just scenery but a constraint: it necessitates a meticulous and resilient terraced viticulture. The repertoire focuses on a single denomination, Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG, a white grape variety that finds crisp acidity and tension in the fresh air of these slopes. It is a choice of depth rather than breadth: to cultivate one territory well rather than spreading too thin.
