Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG

Cantina Sociale di Cassine brings the cooperative spirit of Piedmontese Brachetto to the cellar. From its headquarters in the province of Alessandria, it gathers the work of grape growers spread across the entire Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG area, which spans 26 municipalities, concentrating their grapes into a single collective project. From a single grape variety, the denomination allows for three expressions, and the winery explores them all: red, sparkling (spumante), and passito, each with a minimum of 11.5% alcohol. It's a single grape interpreted in three registers, from aromatic bubbles to the concentration of a passito, demonstrating how Brachetto can adapt to different outcomes without losing its distinctive fragrant signature. Within the cooperative structure of the winery, this variety of forms becomes the way a small territory tells its complete story, vintage after vintage, never straying from the grape variety that defines it.
