Cantina Sociale di Gualtieri

The Cantina Sociale di Gualtieri, in the province of Reggio nell'Emilia, operates within seven regional DOC denominations, acting as a guardian of Emilian sparkling wine production. Since 1958, it has bottled Lambrusco in multiple interpretations—Sorbara, Salamino di Santa Croce, Grasparossa di Castelvetro—alongside the white wines of Colli di Scandiano e di Canossa and Reno, within a perimeter that also includes the Reggiano and Modena indications. This is the broad geography of a cooperative that brings together hundreds of farming families. Rigor does not exclude research: the VERSO line adopts the ancestral method with refermentation in the bottle, awakening aromas through the stirring of the yeasts. Production scale and attention to detail thus coexist in the same reality, where associated viticulture becomes a tool for territorial identity.
