Cantina Sociale di Premaore

delle Venezie DOC

Within the vast basin of the DOC delle Venezie, which extends over 941 municipalities in the Northeast, the Cantina Sociale di Premaore collects and vinifies grapes from a broad and varied continental territory. The cooperative focuses on the white varieties that have defined the area—Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Tocai Friulano—alongside less common varieties such as Müller-Thurgau and Garganega, in a range that also includes delicate rosés. The distinctive feature is the ramata version, the style that gives the wine a recognizable amber hue, produced alongside fragrant whites with a minimum alcohol content of 9.5%. The cooperative form here is not an administrative detail but the method itself: the sum of the members' contributions becomes a collective interpretation of the continental vineyard. The result is wines that seek precision and immediacy rather than power, an orderly expression of one of Italy's most extensive denominations, where Friulian geography translates into bottles designed for the everyday table.
