Cantina Sociale Santa Ninfa Soc. Coop. Agricola P.a.

Established over half a century ago, Cantina Sociale Santa Ninfa brings together over five hundred winegrowers across a thousand hectares, spread throughout the northwestern Belice Valley between Santa Ninfa, Gibellina, and Salemi, in the Trapanese region. The cooperative dimension is its hallmark: many hands, a single production focus, calibrated to the island's two regional recognitions. Under the Sicilia DOC, wines are born—`Nero d'Avola`, `Frappato`, `Nerello Mascalese`, and complementary varieties—while the Sicilia IGP covers extra virgin olive oil. The declared method is one of minimal intervention in winemaking, a choice that allows the Belice terroir and the character of the indigenous varieties to speak for themselves vintage after vintage. It is a model that combines scale and identity: the number of contributors does not dilute the profile but roots it in a precise territory, where the land and the grape varieties remain the true protagonists of every bottle, protected from any standardization.
