Cantina Toblino

Founded in 1960 in the Valle dei Laghi by a group of winemakers, Cantina Toblino is a cooperative that brings together over 500 members across approximately 800 hectares. It directly cultivates forty of these under organic farming and coordinates the rest, guiding each delivery towards Trentino's most suitable zones, from the valley floor to high-altitude terraces. Seven denominations make up its map: five DOCs—including the Trento sparkling wines and the reds of Teroldego Rotaliano, Casteller, Trentino, and Valdadige—alongside two broader IGTs, Vallagarina and Vigneti delle Dolomiti. It's a range that spans from mountain bubbles to structured reds, held together by a precise idea: the winemaker as a guardian of the landscape, not merely a supplier. Those who visit Madruzzo will find vineyards treated as open-air laboratories and can book a cellar tour to taste, bottle after bottle, how a cooperative translates eight hundred hectares and seven appellations into a recognizable profile.
