CANTINA VIGNAIOLI ELVIO PERTINACE S.C.A.

Founded in 1973 as a cooperative, Cantina Vignaioli Elvio Pertinace unites twenty members around a simple idea: wine as a gesture of togetherness and conviviality. Rooted in Treiso, among the Langhe hills, it has developed particular expertise in Barbaresco, which it vinifies with character and power. But its horizon embraces four DOCG denominations, distributed between the two poles of the territory: on one side, the great Nebbiolo wines of Barbaresco and Barolo, and on the other, the more immediate and versatile Dolcetto di Dogliani and Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba. In the tasting room, this dual soul is clearly evident: Barbaresco with its 26 months of mandatory aging, the more austere Barolo requiring 38 months, and alongside them, the Dolcetto expressions that lighten the register without lowering the bar. It is a cooperative that balances ambition and rootedness. Visitors can personally traverse this enological geography, moving through the four DOCGs in a single tasting journey, from the longest-lived reds to those ready for immediate enjoyment.
