In Ponte di Piave, between Treviso and Venice, this cooperative cultivates one of Italy's most industrious wine plains, a land of `Prosecco` and `Pinot Grigio` even before its top denominations. Control of the entire supply chain, from vineyard to bottle, ensures traceability and consistent standards at every production level. Two `DOCG`s mark the qualitative achievement. The `Lison DOCG` is based on the `Tai` grape, which yields characteristic whites with at least 12% alcohol; the `Piave Malanotte DOCG`, on the other hand, relies on `Raboso`, aged for thirty-six months to produce structured reds with no less than 12.5% alcohol. These are two opposite faces of the same region: the aromatic freshness of the white and the tannic power of the long-aged red, both rooted in the alluvial soils of the Piave. Visitors to the winery can closely observe this contrast, seeing how a cooperative structure manages to combine significant volumes with the two guaranteed denomination peaks of its territory.
