Cantine Bonifacio

Since 2003, in Venosa, Cantine Bonifacio has cultivated fifteen hectares of mature Aglianico on the slopes of Piani di Camera, where volcanic soil and a favorable microclimate converge to express the mineral character of the grape variety. The Aglianico del Vulture Superiore DOCG rests for thirty-six months, a period during which contemporary enological precision harmonizes with the slow rhythms of the vineyard. The result aims for a balance between structure and elegance, two qualities that this red only grants to those who respect the long aging times. The land, enriched by the lava of Vulture, imparts its mineral imprint to the wine, while the thirty-six months of rest soften its youthful tannicity. It is a wine that declares its Lucanian origin in every sip, rooted in a viticulture as ancient as the territory of Venosa.
