Cantine Carel sources from the rolling hills of Costigliole d'Asti, where three of Piedmont's most prestigious appellations intersect. The cellar specializes in the three DOCG reds and whites of the region: Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato, Terre Alfieri, and Barbera d'Asti. Using controlled-temperature Charmat fermentation and extended aging, Carel crafts wines of structural depth and aromatic clarity, from pale-hued Arneis to full-bodied Barbera. Visitors and tasters are welcomed year-round to explore the house's approach to these distinctive regional expressions.
